A 15-year teen girl bravely pulled off a mobile snatcher from his bike when two motorcycle-borne thieves armed with sharp weapons attacked her while trying to snatch her mobile phone. A CCTV grab shows the girl bravely fighting the thieves and pulling off one of the thieves from their bikes.

The teen girl, identified as Kusum Kumari, was returning home tuition when she was suddenly attacked by the bike-borne thieves near Jalandhar-Kapurthala road on Monday.

“The man riding pillion grabbed my hand and took my phone. I resisted and held his hand after which I followed them on their bike and grabbed the pillion rider’s t-shirt. He later hit me and attacked my wrist with a sharp object,” said the girl to the news reporter.

The girl, now injured, did not back down. She ran after the bike and dragged the pillion rider, who snatched her mobile phone, off it.
