The apprehended Bangladeshi nationals told the BSF that they were entering India to work as labourers with the help of an Indian tout.

After illegally crossing the international boundary, Bangladeshi nationals and Indian touts infiltrated Indian territory, the BSF said in a statement.

All of the detained individuals, as well as the confiscated items, were handed over to the Raghunathganj police station for further legal action.

According to battalion Commandant Vijay Kumar Singh, the BSF is taking stringent measures to prevent infiltration and human trafficking along the Indo-Bangladesh border "due to which the persons involved in such crimes are facing a lot of difficulties and many of them are being captured and punished."
