According to police sources weapons were being transported in the truck by terrorists. The truck was on its way to Kashmir from Bamyal area of Punjab.

It is to be mentioned that on September 9, Pakistan had released international terrorist Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief Maulana Masood Azhar from the protective custody.

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has also alerted the Indian government regarding the deployment of additional Pakistani troopers along the border near Rajasthan.

Reportedly, the intelligence agency also warned that Pakistan has started deploying additional troops near the Rajasthan border as part of the plan.

On the other hand, the Army has received intelligence inputs of terrorist attacks in the southern part of India. According to the official sources, some abandoned boats have been found at Gujarat’s Sir Creek.

Tension between India and Pakistan escalated after special status to Jammu and Kashmir was revoked last month and the state was bifurcated into two Union territories.
