4 Assam Police top brass re-designated

GUWAHATI: The Assam government today redesignated senior police officers Y.K. Gautam, G.P. Singh, L.R. Bishnoi, and S.N. Singh in their respective posts.

This was intimated via an order that was undersigned by S.R Bhuyan, Secretary to the government of Assam's Home & Political department.

It further stated that G. P. Singh, IPS (RR-1991), Addl. Director-General of Police, L&O, and V&AC, Assam has been re-designated as Special Director-General of Police in the same post.

"In the interest of public service Dr. Y. K. Gautam, IPS (RR-1990), Addl. Director-General of Police -cum- Director. Eire & Emergency Services, Assam is re-designated as Spl. Director-General of Police in the same post. He will continue in level 15 of the Pay Matrix," read the communique.

Dr. L. R. Bishnoi, IPS (RR-I991), Additional Director-General of Police (TAP), Assam has been re-designated as Spl. Director-General of Police in the same post.

S. N. Singh, IPS (RR-1991), Additional Director General of Police (Communication), Assam has also been re-designated as Spl. Director-General of Police in the same post.
