4 more COVID deaths reported in Arunachal Pradesh; State records 205 new cases

ITANAGAR: In the past 24 hours, as many as four people infected with COVID-19 had died in Arunachal Pradesh, taking the death toll to 68.

Meanwhile, the state's caseload has rose up to 20,575 with 205 people testing positive for the virus during the period.

The Capital Complex area in the state had the maximum new cases with 61, followed by Lower Subansiri (20), Anjaw (17), 15 each from Namsai and East Siang, Changlang (14), and Lower Dibang Valley (13), eight cases were found in Lohit, six in Upper Subansiri and Lower Siang, five in Leparada, Papumpare, and West Kameng, three in Dibang Valley, two each in Upper Siang, West Siang, Tawang, and Kamle, and one each in KraDaadi, KurungKumey, Tirap, and Siang district, he said.

As of yesterday, there are 1924 active cases whereas 18,583 patients have been recovered and discharged so far since the pandemic.
