GUWAHATI: The Assam police’s Hajo unit has detained five TET (Teachers’ Eligibility Test) teachers on Tuesday in a case related to job scam.
The five were identified as Dildaar Hussain, Muktaar Ali, Akras Ali, Ajmul Hoque and Najammuddin Ahmed.
Detained five are accused of acquiring job through unfair means.
All five of them have been taken into custody by the Hajo police and are being interrogated for further revealings and confessions.
Assam police Crime Investigation Department (CID) have launched an operation against fake TET teachers and as of now 25 were arrested.
13 of them were presented before court today and nine were on Monday.
After arrest, the fake teachers have accepted that brokers have made fake TET certificates in exchange for Rs 1 lakh.
