AIR Imphal programme executive Bijaya Yumlembam succumbs to COVID-19

IMPHAL: Bijaya Yumlembam, programme executive of All India Radio (AIR) Imphal had died of COVID-19 today.

Bijaya Yumlembam breathed her last following COVID-19 complications at a private hospital in Manipur where she was undergoing treatment since she had been infected with the novel Coronavirus.

She was admitted to Shija Hospital, Manipur in the last week of April.

Later she was shifted to ICU for the last couple of days following her critical condition.
