Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) president Akhil Gogoi on Monday said that opposition forces will have to unite against Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Gogoi stated, “Every opposing force should unite for the fight against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), 2019.”

The peasant leader has been reportedly suffering from COVID-19 and other ailments. He underwent two tests in Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on Monday.

Gogoi reiterated that the All Assam Students’ Union forming political party will not serve purpose. He added that everyone should participate under a single party, symbol and flag.
