NEW DELHI: Heavy rainfall is expected to hit all the Northeastern states and their parts--Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on May 13.
Besides the Northeast states, other states like Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep are also expected to experience heavy rains.

In Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi today, thunderstorms with lightning, hail, and squall (speeds exceeding 50-60 kmph) are very likely.
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (up to 30-40 kmph) are expected on May 15 across Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep.
Moreover, on May 16, extremely heavy rainfall is forecast in a few isolated locations across Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep, as well as Heavy Rainfall in Konkan, Goa, and Telangana.
