Arunachal bikers embark on ride to Ladakh to spread awareness against racism

ITANAGAR: In a bid to create awareness against racism, the members of the Arunachal Bullet Club have kick started a bike ride from Arunachal Pradesh to Ladakh on Thursday.

ITANAGAR: In a bid to create awareness against racism, the members of the Arunachal Bullet Club have kick started a bike ride from Arunachal Pradesh to Ladakh on Thursday.

The riders are scheduled to reach their destination on August 30.

Reportedly, over 6 riders including one female started their journey from Civil Secretariat Itanagar sponsored by state Youth affairs Department to promote such positive cause.

Anirudha Singh, Secretary of Youth affairs Department of Arunachal thanked the youths who came out to cover more than 6000km trip to create awareness on drug abuse, Racism and promote one India theory.

"It is very nice to see young people coming together for such causes and spread awareness about Arunachal and Northeast and the central message they are carrying is beautiful. We support it with all zest".

Sanjay Nath, Spokesman of Arunachal Bullet informed that the club was formed in 2007 and since then it's working for charitable and social causes.

This is the first time Arunachal bullet Club along with Royal Arunachal Riders club tied up with the youth affairs Department to promote Arunachal Pradesh in North India.

Calenders,stickers ,tshirts promoting Arunachal in particular and Northeast India as whole will be distributed in some key places on the way to Leh-Ladakh.

"Racism awareness is much needed as many times people of North India don't recognize us and say Chinese " said Nath.
