ITANAGAR: The Arunachal government has relaxed the curfew timing in Itanagar by one hour.
The curfew hours will now begin from 4PM instead of 3PM in the capital.
The announcement was made by deputy commissioner Talo Potom on Saturday.

During a media interaction, the Deputy Commissioner informed that the capital shops which were operating on left & right system on a daily basis have been now allowed to be open upto 2.30 pm instead of earlier 1.30 pm as per new order.
He urged the citizens to cooperate with the government and not flout any COVID protocols because of the relaxations.
Congratulating the citizens of Itanagar for being fully vaccinated, the DC said that together they will beat the deadly virus.
He further informed that the COVID Positivity rate has dropped down to 9 percent as per the weekly data.
The state currently stands at 3032 active cases of COVID-19 with 237 COVID fatalities.
