According to a revised regulation, visitors to the state will have to undergo mandatory rapid antigen test (RAT) for coronavirus at the Bandardewa check gate.
A medical team will be stationed at the inter-state check gate from 6 am to 10 pm to conduct the RAT and travelers are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
Truckers/official drivers/protocol drivers/ attendants entering the state to return within eight hours are, however, exempted from the RAT. Similarly, those travelers with negative RT-PCR/True Nat/CBNAAT or a valid final vaccination completion certificate are also exempted from the compulsory test. The COVID negative report will have to be of test within 72 hours of entry to the state though.
For intra-state travelers passing through Bandardewa check gate and neighbouring state, a facilitation pass for RAT exemption will be issued from the exiting district which will be valid for 24 hours.
Further, the revised guidelines has stipulated that all existing COVID protocol will apply strictly.
