ITANAGAR: The People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) on Saturday expressed concern over the ramapant corruption in the state amd also detailed certain issues on the governance of current Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

In a statement issued on Saturday, it said the biggest cause of worry in the state of Arunachal Pradesh today is the growing rampamt corruption.

"The growing number if legal notices seny to the Pema Khandu led Governance on crucial issues like misappropriation of Panchayati Raj fubds, CAMPA, Covid-19 funds are really worrisome and needs immediate correction with systematic Judicial Enquiry of all the fraudulent activities of the present government".

It also highlighted the inequality in termsnof distribution of schemes and funds between all the districts in the state.

It alleged that Tawang district belonging tonthe Chied Minister takes away the major chunk of the state fins and creation of the Department of Tawang and West Kameng District has given further more uneven distribution.

"For decades, the public of the state have been a mute spectators to various stories of misapproriation of cases. One of the most scaldalous amonh them being the siohoning of huge amounts from SGRY scheme to the tune ig Rs6i crores leading ti the illegal appointments of DRROs", it read.

The party further cited the example of the sensational case of misapproproation of Power sandal 20-21 relating to DDUGJY.

It said that many organizations have raised various issues relevant to teh state interest with ultimatums if democrayic has all along been givinv a deaf eat to their demands.

It demanded that issues like Kimin beinh named as Bhilgarh and shown as a partbof Assam, misapproproarionnof Panchayati Raj funds, misuse of CAMPA funds, Covid-19 funds etc needs to be clarified by the present government at the earliest.
