ITANAGAR: A team of army doctors saved the lives of a mother and her child by performing a critical surgery at the Military Hospital in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Gajraj Corps of Army said that the locals have expressed gratitude for the medical assistance in this time of crisis in a tweet.

"In the challenging times of Covid 19, Indian Army Doctors saved precious life of a mother & child by performing complex surgery at Dahung, Arunachal Pradesh. Locals expressed their gratitude for the timely assistance", it said.

Netizens praised the Indian Amry and showered love and blessings to the mother and child.

Army doctors have time and again rendered such services to the civilians especially in the time of COVID-19.

In several states across the country, army base hospitals opened their doors to civilians during the second wave of COVID-19.

Reportedly, the hospitals have also set up and various special COVID care facilities which also managed by the army doctors.
