ARUNACHAL PRADESH: FIVE ARRESTED FOR GAMBLING IN ITANAGAR

A joint team of the Itanagar Capital Complex district administration and the police arrested five persons from a building in Ganga market for gambling and seized gambling materials.

Later, the accused persons were handed over to Itanagar Police Station for necessary action, informed executive magistrate-cum-extra assistant commissioner Itanagar, Hengo Basar, who had spearheaded the drive. Basar informed that more such drives would be conducted to check illegal gambling activities.

Meanwhile, Itanagar Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan requested the denizens to refrain from such illegal activities and cooperate with the administration to curb the menace.
