Arunachal recieves 86510 COVID vaccine doses for 45+ age group, active cases at 2,397

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh in the past 24 hours reported 356 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of positive cases of the infection in the state to 22,462.

On the other hand, the state reported three deaths related to COVID-19 during the period, pushing the death toll to 88.

The death rate of Arunachal Pradesh stands at 0.39%.

The state currently has 2,397 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 19,977 patients have so far been recovered from the disease in the state with a recovery rate of 88.94%.

Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh has received another batch of Covishield vaccines of 86510 doses from the center for all above 45 age.

State chief minister Pema Khandu urged everyone eligible to get vaccinated against the infection and be protected.
