New Delhi, February 16, 2020:

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the third consecutive time with supporters, especially “little mufflermen” thronging the city’s Ramlila Maidan.

Kejriwal along with his six ministers took the oath at a mega ceremony at Ramlila Maidan that was attended by a huge crowd, including small kids dressed as the famous ‘little mufflerman’ (resembling the style of Kejriwal with a muffler).

Kejriwal's key ministers, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain and Rajendra Gautam, will be part of his new cabinet.

Kejriwal, in his address at the oath-taking ceremony, said, “Elections are over now. No matter who you voted for, you are part of my family. Party affiliations never stopped me from working for anyone”.

It may be mentioned here that Delhi election results that were declared on February 11 rewarded the AAP for its development work in the past years. The party won 62 seats in the 70 Assembly constituencies. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which focused on the Shaheen Bagh protests during the campaigns were able to bag eight seats, whereas Congress failed to occupy its position with no seats at all.

The star attraction at the venue apart from the AAP leaders was the little mufflerman, who was invited by Arvind Kejriwal to attend the ceremony.
