Assam: 2000 Students Compete in ‘Brain Gym’ Exercise of SIP Prodigy 2020

Guwahati, February 2, 2020:

Around 2000 candidates from different learning centres took part in the Regional ‘SIP Assam Prodigy 2020’ here on Sunday.

Sociable Intellectual Progressive (SIP) Academy India Private Ltd., is a children skill development organization that aims to help students nourish their skills and gain confidence in the long run. Dinesh-Victor M.D. SIP India Academy Pvt. Ltd said, “The students were tested on their concentration, confidence, intelligence, speed and accuracy. It is heartening to see the competitive spirit amongst these children and their self-confidence. Essential for life.”

The 2000 contestants from 20 SIP Learning Centres represented Guwahati, Nalbari, Tezpur, Silchar, Karimganj, Diphu, Shillong and competed on Abacus, Brain Gym and Mental Arithmetic skills in the event at LNIPE Indoor Stadium, Sonapur.

It may be mentioned here that the ‘SIP Prodigy’ competition has entered the Limca Book of Records four times. It is the only Indian Abacus Company to conduct five International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competitions in India and abroad.

SIP programs focus on developing various skills in children.  The program, open to children in the age group of 6-12 years integrates ‘Brain Gym exercises’ with the Abacus methodology known as Mental Arithmetic, that maximizes the potential of a child. The SIP Program is available in fourteen countries worldwide with over 2500 centres.
