Assam: 2409 COVID cases reported in last 24 hours

Assam reported 2409 on the Tuesday, 15^thof September. The state tested 32,770 samples in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate now is 7.35% with 31,029 active cases. 

Informing this, Assam Health Minister tweeted, “lert ~ 2409

The total number of recovered patients has now increased to 1,16,900 including the 1849 recovered patients on the 15^thSeptember. 

HBS on his twitter handle wrote, “Discharge Alert

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, 10 people succumbed to the disease. The deceased Late Gauri Gogoi (58) of Tinsukia; Late Britendra Daimary (56) of Karbi Anglong; Late Binayak Prasad Saraf (74) of Kamrup Metro; Late Bithi Sharma (78) of Kamrup Metro; Late Jogeshwar Gogoi(52); Late Jyoti Talukdar (50) of Barpeta; Late Mahabir Prasad Sharma (60) of North Lakhimpur; Late Chandra Prabha Das (73) of Dibrugarh; Late Eliza Begum (70) of Dibrugarh; Late Kamal Ranjan Dutta (78) of Kamrup Metro.
