Assam: 65th Death Anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar observed in Margherita

MARGHERITA: Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar 65th Mahaparinirvan Divas/ Death Anniversary observed at Margherita Buddha Vihar on Monday which was organised by Nyay Mancha Sabka Margherita Sub Divisional Committee.

The whole programme was moderated by Papu Sah of Margherita which begins with lighting of Candles,Incense Sticks and floral tribute towards the Portrait of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar by Pannasara Bhikkhu head monk of Machey Gaon Buddha Vihar, Bhikkhu Gyanawada Mahathera Head monk of Margherita Buddha Vihar, Ram Prasad Ambedkar President of Margherita Journalists Association, Ram Hriday Sah(Kanthi) President of Margherita Bazaar Committee,Mira Subba President of Baragolai Gaon Panchayat,Manju Dey Secretary of Country's Women Association of Margherita Unit,Anita Das Mahanty Secretary of Sanmhelito Naari Mancha Margherita, Mitali Roy Founder of Roots 2 Fruits School Ledo, Seema Paul Noted Writer of Margherita and Dr B R Ambedkar Awardee, Rabindra Nath Dutta Noted Social Worker of Margherita and other present resource persons paid rich tribute. Abhiraj Coaching Institute Baragolai and his team conduct a Street Play with Slogan Jai Bhim subject Women Right and Ambedkar.

In his speech Pannasara Bhikkhu said that Buddhism and Ambedkar is coins of two sides which no one can deny it. Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar who along with 5,00,000 converted to Buddhism in the year 1956 on 14 October at DeekshaBhoomi Nagpur, Maharashtra which is great day for Humanity as Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and his family members was very much humiliated and Exploited by the so called Hindu Religion said Pannasara Bhikkhu.

Manju Dey in his speech said due to Constitution of India which was Drafted by Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar Women are moving freely and much developed than earlier.

Right to Speech, Freedom of Expression, Right to Religion,Right to Live are written in Constitution of India said Manju Dey. All the present resource persons spoke about the life and struggle of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar and all must follow the ideology and principles of our Constitution which is the longest and largest Constitution of the World.
