Guwahati, May 22, 2019:

The day of the results of the General Elections 2019 is approaching quickly and the counting process will be underway in less than twenty-four hours. In Assam, as many as 50 counting centers have been chosen where the counting of votes will be held to decide the fate of the Lok Sabha candidates and decide who will win the throne at the centre - Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi.

In Karimganj, counting will be held at Karimganj College. The counting will cover the Ratabari (SC), Patherbari, Karimganj North, Karimganj South, and Badarpur Assembly Constituencies.

In Hailakandi, the counting will be held at Govt VM HS School, which will cover Hailakandi, Katli cherra, and Algapur Assembly Constituencies.

In Silchar, the NATRIP East West Corridor has been chosen as the counting centre. Silchar, Sonai, Dholai (SC), Udharbond, Lakhipur, Barkhola, and Katigorah are the Assemblies which will be covered here.

In Haflong, the counting will be held at Office Building of the Deputy Commissioner, Haflong. The counting will cover only the Haflong Assembly Constituency.

In Bokajan, counting will be held at the Bokajan Higher Secondary School for the Bokajan Assembly Constituency.

In Diphu, counting will be held at Diphu Govt College in the Howraghat and Diphu Assembly Constituencies.

In Hamren, the election will be held at the Office of the DC where votes of the Baithalangso LAC will be tallied.

In South Salmara, the counting will be held at the auditorium hall, Hatsingimari where counting of the Mankachar and Salmara South LAC votes will be counted.

In Dhubri, counting will be heald at the District Library, Dhubri. The counting will be held for the Dhubri, Gauripur, Golakgang LACs.

In Bilasipara, the counting will be held at the Office Campus of the SDO (C) and the votes of the Bilasipara West, and Bilasipara East LACs will be counted.

In Gossaigaon, counting will be held at the Office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Counting will be held for the Gossaigaon and Kokrajhar West LACs.

In Kokrajhar, the counting will be held at the DIET/BTC Kokrajhar. The votes of Kokrajhar East will be counted here.

In Chirang, the counting will be held at the Government building at the Ubrahma College. It will cover the votes of the Sidli LAC.

In Bongaigaon, the voting will be held at the Bongaigaon College. It will cover the Bongaigaon LAC.

Counting in Bijni will be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). The votes of Bijni LAC will be counted here.

Counting in South Salmara shall be held at the Abhayeswari H.S and M.P School. The votes of Abhayapuri North and Abhayapuri South will be held here.

In Goalpara, the counting will be held at the P.R. Govt H.S. and M.P. School and at the Goalpara College New Building, where the voting of the Dudhnoi and Goalpara East, Goalpara West, and Jaleswar LACs will take place.

In Barpeta, the counting will be held at the Madhab Choudhury College where the counting of the votes of Sorbhog, Barpeta, Jania, Baghbar, Sarukhetri, and Chenga LACs will be held.

In Bajali, the counting will be held at Bajali College. Votes of Bhabanipur, and Patacharkuchi LACs will be held here.

In Amingaon, counting will be held at the Counting Hall near the MACT Court, Office of the DC. Area covered will be Boko, Chaygaon, Palasbari, and Hajo LACs.

In Rangia, counting will be held at the Office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Kamapur and Rangia LACs will be covered here.

In Guwahati Sadar, counting will be held at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre. Area covered will be Jalukbari, Dispur, Guwahati East, and Guwahati West.

In Nalbari, counting will be held at the Government Gurdon H.S. School. Area to be covered will be Nalbari, Barkhetri, and Dharmapur LACs.

In Baksa, counting shall be held at the Mushalpur H.S. School. Area to be covered will be Tamulpur, Barama, and Chapaguri LACs.

In Udalguri, the counting will be held at the DC Office Building. Area to be covered are Paneri, Udalguri, and Majbat LACs.

In Mangaldoi, counting will be held at the Mangaldoo college and area to be covered are Kalaigaon, Shipajhar, Mangaldoi, and Dalgaon LACs.

In Tezpur, counting will be held at the RCC building (G+2) at Darrang College. The area covered will be Dhekiajuli, Barchalla, Tezpur, Rangapara, and Sootea LACs.

In Biswanath Chariali, counting will be held at the office building of the DC, Biswanath. Areas covered will be Biswanath and Behali LACs.

In Gohpur, counting shall be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Area to be covered is the Gohpur LAC.

In Morigaon of Assam, counting will be held at Morigain College, Assam and RCC. Areas to be covered are Jagiroad, Morigaon, and Laharighat.

In Nagaon, counting will be held at the Dawson H.S. and M.P School, Nagaon and the Government Girls' High School. Raha, Nowgong, Barhampur, Dhing, Batadraba, Rupohihat, and Samaguri LAC votes will be counted.

In Kaliabar, counting will be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Areas to be covered is Kaliabor LAC.

In Hojai of Assam, counting will be held at the DC Office, Hojai. Areas to be covered are Jamunamukh, Hojai, and Lumding LACs.

In Bokakhat, counting will be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Area to be covered is Bokakhat LAC.

In Dhansiri, counting will be held at Sarupathar college. Area to be covered is Sarupathar College.

In Golaghat, counting will be held at the Resident Girls' Polytechnic. Area to be covered is Golaghat and Khumtai LACs.

In Jorhat of Assam, the counting of votes will be held at the Jorhat Govt boys H.S and M.P. School. Areas to be covered are Dergaon, Jorhat, and Teok LACs.

In Titabor, the counting of votes will be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer. Areas to be covered are Titabor and Mariani LACs.

In Majuli, counting will be held at the DC Office Garamur. Area to be covered is Majuli LAC.

In Sibsagar of Assam, counting will be held at the Sibsagar Govt boys' HS and MP School. Areas to be covered are Amguri, Thowra, and Sibasagar LACs.

In Nazira, counting will be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Area to be covered is Nazira LAC.

In Charaideo, counting will be held at second floor, office of the DC and third floor, office of the DC. Areas to be covered are Mahmora, and Sonari LACs.

In Lakhimpur, counting will be held at the North Lakhimpur Govt H.S. School. Areas to be covered Bihpuria, Naoboicha, and Lakhimpur LACs.

On Dhokuakhana of Assam, counting will be held at the office premises of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Areas to be covered is Dhokuakhana LAC.

In Dhemaji, counting will be held at the DRDA office. Area to be covered is Dhemaji LAC.

In Jonai, election will be held at the office of the sub-divisional officer (civil). Area to be covered is Jonai LAC.

In Dibrugarh, counting centre is the Govt Boys' H.S. School. Areas to be covered are Moran, Dibrugarh, Lahowal, Duliajan, Tingkhong, Naharkatia, and Chabua LACs.

In Tinsukia, counting will be held at the erstwhile statefed godown and the areas to be covered will be Tinsukia, Digboi, and Doomdooma LACs.

In Margherita, counting will be held at the S.D.O (civil) office building. Area to be covered is Margherita LAC.

In Sadiya, counting will be held at the sub-divisional officer (civil), office premises. Area to be covered is Sadiya.
