Assam: Another Nimatighat boat tragedy victim? Body found in Tezpur's Devisingh Ghat

TEZPUR: A dead body washed ashore on Sunday late in the evening which was suspected to be a case of the Nimatighat boat tragedy that has taken place on Wednesday.

The body was found to be of a woman. As per the government report, there were 92 passengers on board during the mishap and 89 of them were already rescued and traced, two were found dead while one man identified as Dr Bikramjit Barua still remained missing.

The woman is suspected to be of age between 25 to 30 and her identity is yet to be ascertained.
