“…inspite of our several agitational programmes related to the kidnapping of Shri Pradip Shil, the govt. of Assam has failed miserably to rescue him from the cruel and unsafe hands of the kidnappers, which is quite unfortunate,” stated the organisations in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal.

They have demanded immediate action against the kidnappers in order to avoid any untoward situation in maintaining peace and tranquility in future.
