Earlier Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora and Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, had slammed the Assam government for creating confusion among the students regarding the examinations.

Bora said that the HSLC and HS examinations were canceled followed by a chain of agreements and disagreements. Later a decision was taken to conduct the examinations citing the reason that the state didn’t have the system of calculating internal assessment. However, the decision was once again changed and once again the exam was canceled.

Also, the confusion regarding eligibility of marksheets was prevailing.

Accusing the BJP government of creating confusion among the students, Bora said, “Sitting on either poles, both the Chief Minister and Education Minister have created an atmosphere of misgovernance”.
