Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force in Assam seized 8007 Nos of Yaba tablets during a joint operation with police from bordering area of village Bishkhawa Part-II, Police Station – Golakganj, Distt –Dhubri (Assam) on 02 July 2020.
Acting on a tip-off, on 02 July 2020, BSF troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Bishkhawa of 110 BN BSF carried out a joint operation with Police of Bishkhawa Police outpost in the general area of village Bishkhawa Part-II, PS Golakganj under Dhubri district, Assam. At 2030 hrs, the suspect was coming along with motorcycle towards border village Bishkhawa Part-II, while the party tried to stop the motorcycle, the suspect was fled away from the spot throwing the consignment. The operation party recovered 8007 nos of Yaba Tablets. Seized items have been handed over to PS-Golakganj for further legal action.
