A total of 74 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. Of these, 59 are from Dhubri, 14 Nagaon, 1 Udalguri.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted:
With the detection of new cases, the total number of confirmed cases has gone up to 1830. Of the 1830 cases, 1410 are active and 413 have been cured or discharged. Four people have died of the infection in the state so far.
Assam has crossed the 1000-mark in 60 days. It reported the first case on March 31st, 2020.
So far, 268 cases have been reported for 3rd June.
A total of 76 cases were reported on June 2nd while 148 on June 1st, 190 on May 31st, 159 on May 30th, 174 on May 29th, 97 on May 28th, 92 on May 27th, 116 on May 26th, 147 on May 25th, 46 on May 24th, 67 on May 23rd and 49 cases on May 22nd, 2020.

As of June 3rd, India has crossed 2 lakh-mark in terms of corona positives. The country currently has 207615 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 101497 active cases with 100303 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 5815.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 2 thousand deaths. It has recorded 72300 corona cases with 31333 cured, 2465 deaths and 38502 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 22132 cases with 9243 cured, 556 deaths, and 12333 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 24586 positive cases with 13706 cured, 197 deaths 10683 active cases. Gujarat with 17617 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 11894 have been cured, 1092 deaths, and 4631 active cases.
India has surpassed China’s official figure of 82,933 confirmed coronavirus cases. India now has 7th in most cases in the world and has surpassed Germany. So far, the USA has the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 18,81,205 cases.
Global coronavirus cases have surpassed 64,52,391 cases, with Latin America overtaking the United States and Europe in the past week to report the largest portion of new daily cases globally. It represents a new phase in the virus’ spread, which initially peaked in China in February before large-scale outbreaks followed in Europe and the United States.
