Assam: Cricketer Gautam Hazarika gets pension for life by Assam govt

Currently retired Gautam Hazarika has been granted govt pension for life by the Assam government. The Kamrup District physical education organisation has expressed their pleasure over the issue. Gautam Hazarika has represented in International tournaments and the Kamrup district physical education organisation has conveyed their wishes for his long and healthy life.

Gautam Hazarika represented Indian school team at Eden garden against England school for three days match and also represent East zone team against England team at Nehru stadium Guwahati. He has also represented three times u/19 east zone team and two times u/22 and captain of GU team and various times for Ranji matches.
