Licypriya said that a similar incident took place in Bangalore which was declared a national issue, “but why this incident which happened in Assam is not a national issue yet? ” She questioned.

The young activist also said she did not want to share the picture on Twitter, but she did to let the world know how a 12 years older girl was burnt alive and brutally killed after rape.

Taking to Twitter she wrote,” A 12 years old Karbi girl in Assam (North-East) was burnt alive after rape on 22 April. If any such crime happens in mainland India, it will be a national issue overnight.”

She also urged everyone to spread the news so that it reached the entire country, as well as national and international media.

“Keep sharing until it reaches the whole India, national & international media,” she further wrote on Twitter.

Now the justice for the tribal girl is on top nationwide.

Licypriya thanking everyone for raising the voice for a 12 years old tribal girl said, “As like in Nirbhaya, Kathua, etc., we need to stand together for her justice.”
