Assam Down Town University organises student development programme

The Faculty of Science, Assam Down Town University has organised a Student Development Program on The Blue Print of Life. The program was started on July 10^th, 2020, and will continue to July 16^th, 2020.

The Blue Print of Life, DNA encapsulates all information for functioning of living organisms via transcribing RNA and translating it to the protein molecules which in turn may function as a building block of cells or perform enzymatic activity. Therefore, understanding of DNA became perseverance for knowing ourselves and other living organisms.

Molecular Biology today became the subject of study in all life science programs and it is important to mention that mathematics, statistics, physics plays a critical role in its understanding. Therefore, an attempt has been made by the Faculty of Science, Assam down town University to make aware of the students who are ready for their higher studies in preferably life science and basic science programs through this program. This program will attempt to provide a clear and concise picture of DNA to the students willing to pursue graduation and post-graduation in biological sciences as well as other basic sciences.
