ASSAM: FIR LODGED AGAINST MLA OF GAURIPUR

An fir has been lodged by mamila rabidas (59) BDO of debitola development block against MLA of Gauripur Constituency for physically assaulting them during their inspection  of various developmental schemes under Debitola block.

During the inspection of ‘Naba Kumar Dong’ (a canal) at Debitola, MLA Gauripur used criminal force and assaulted one Gram Sevak of Debitola Block Dibjyoti Sarkar (55). The MLA alongwith his men threatened the staff with dire consequences when complained by Mamila Rabidas . A case is being registered at Kazigaon PS and legal action is being initiated.
