The Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF) president and former Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Assam chief Hagrama Mohilary offered his Namaj at Kokrajhar Jame masjid on the occasion of holy Eid-Uj-Zuha on August 1st, 2020 morning.

He was accompanied with former BTC executive member Doneswar Goyary maintaining social distancing and wearing masks during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Mohilary extended his Eid Mubarak to all Islam followers on the occasion and expressed his hopeful that may the Eid celebration will be a deep peace and development amongst all sections of the communities across the state.

BPF president Hagrama Mohilary claimed that his party is winning 25 seats of the 40-member assembly and forming the next BTC council. He said that BPF has been maintaining the alliance with BJP at Dispur, Assam, and Delhi, but the BJP party itself maintaining distancing from the BPF party in BTC.

He said BJP will score zero seat (two seats given from BPF through alliance) zero result in the council. He said that his party is fully prepared to contest the elections whenever it conducts election.
