Assam Govt. issues notice to schools on fee waiver

GUWAHATI: Amid COVID-19 Pandemic, The Assam government issued notice to schools on fee waiver. The fee regulatory committee constituted by the state government- for regulation of fees in Non-government educational instutions- has provided an online platform for all Private Institutions to declare the savings acquired from May 1, 2021 untill the reopening of classes for physical education.

An official notification read, “The Non-Govt. Educational Instutions have to declare their Expenses and Savings during the period starting from May 1, 2021 till the date of reopening of any classes along with their self – declaration of concession on fees for the students through the online platform as mentioned above, within a period of one month after reopening of any one class or many.”

It further stated that if any parent/guardian of any school has any complaint relationg to fees, they can submit their grievances online to the Fee Regulatory Committee through their official website.

Here’s the procedure:

For Declaring of Expenses & Savings & Self Declaration of concession on fees the Institution has to visit website of FRC https:// www.feeregulatoryassam.com/ Login / Institution Login / Online Services / Voluntary Declaration of Savings.

For submitting Grievances the Parent/Guardian may kindly visit https:// www.feeregulatoryassam.com and go to SUBMIT GRIEVANCES section and submit their complaint.
