Assam govt mulls for oxygen supply at homes, informs Health Minister

GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta on Monday stated that the government is planning to facilitate oxygen supply at homes.

“The facilities might not be available now, but the production has already begun in each and every district” said the Minister.

The state government has not left out any district in terms of oxygen availability. Some already have the facilities while some are in progress, he stated.

Claiming that there is no shortage of oxygen in the state, the minister said, “We have facilitated oxygen supplies even in COVID Care Centres by using oxygen concentrators”, he added.

The Minister also stated that the state has a sufficient supply of vaccines to vaccinate the entire state within three months.
