Guwahati, February 9, 2020:

The Assam High School Leaving Certificate or HSLC examination, 2020 will begin from February 10, Monday onwards.

This year, a total of 3,58,446 students will be appearing for the 2020 HSLC exam across 860 centers of Assam. Conducted by the Board of Secondary Education of Assam (SEBA), the exams will conclude on February 29.

SEBA has also instructed the students to use black ink to write in the HSLC exams this year. The Assam High Madrassa (AHM) exams will also begin from Monday. Around 9,707 candidates will appear in their AHM exams across the 860 centres across the state.

It may be mentioned here that the HSLC exams will be conducted under CCTV cameras. Signal jammers will also be installed in some exam centres according to reports. Students engaged in cheating, carrying mobile phones and failing to obey invigilators would face suspension for three years.
