Kokrajhar, April 10, 2020:

Assam man has composed a parody version of a famous Lata Mangeshkar song in order to raise awareness on the coronavirus pandemic.

Asom Sahitya Sabha Life Member, who also works with the Public Works Department (PWD) of Kokrajhar, Assam, Raju Kumar Basumatary composed a song amid the lockdown's boredom at his residence. "Hey humans, don't fear corona. We will sail in the boat of unity and overcome this. We will win for sure," he sang.

"I was bored of sitting back at home and thought of sending out this message on coronavirus. I am not a Singer, yet I am going to try singing this composition," he said.

His effort is among the many who have shown their zeal to spread a positive vibe in their own ways. Basumatary's song has been created with the sole aim of raising awareness about social distancing and coronavirus.
