Assam: Movement of individuals prohibited between 9.30 pm to 5 am in Hailakandi

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, movement of individuals shall remain strictly prohibited between 9.30 pm to 5 am throughout Hailakandi district. 

In an order issued to this effect here on Monday, Additional Deputy Commissioner cum CEO, DDMA, RK Dam stated that all shops and commercial establishments and trade activities shall be allowed to operate between 7 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday.

The order also stated that there will no movement of individuals during the weekend lockdown on Saturdays and Sundays at any time across the district. The order warned that anyone found violating the standing instructions shall be liable for punishment under relevant sections of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and IPC.
