Assam- Nagaland Border issue finds room in Ireland University

The issue of Assam- Nagaland Border has been a persistent issue. Despite dialogues between the two states, no resolution has been taken out till date. This has led to sporadic conflicts along with the border areas.

Now, the topic has also found a place in foreign lands as it has been taken up as a topic of discussion in Ireland.

Delhi University Ph.D. scholar Antara Bora, a resident of Golaghat district of Assam, presented a paper on the Assam- Nagaland border issue at the Ireland Dublin City University.

In her Ph.D., the basic discussion was made on the topic of senior journalist Apurba Ballav Goswami’s report submitted after traveling around these border areas of Nagalim and the politics indulged in the manipulation of the conflicted regions.

The discussion of such volatile issues of the North-Eastern region at an international platform is likely to speed up the resolution of these conflicts.
