The Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha(ANSS) from BTAD region has demanded installation of Nepali language and culture

An eight-member delegation team from four district units of BTAD(Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa and Udalguri) met Principal Secretary of BTC at BTC Secretariat on Monday Siddarth Singh and submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking installation of Nepali language and culture

BTAD region for more than 150 years permanently, the Toponym also indicates that many revenue villages are recorded in Nepali names like- Nepalpara, Nepaligoan, Koilamaila, Manglajhora, Ultapani, Baljhora, Athiabari, etc. (vide Census manual, 2011).
The Gorkha community has a remarkable contribution to the upliftment of the region for long.
That sir, in the BTR agreement many provisions have been made, in this regard, in the proposed Upendranath Brahma Central University at Barama, so it is very much needed  to include 
a center for Nepali Language and Culture in its inception stage.
