Assam: Over 1 lakh tests completed in a row, positivity rate falls to 2.67%

Assam recorded 3592 cases in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 2.67% . The state successfully tested 134570 samples on Tuesday. This is the second time in a row that the COVID warrirors carried out over 1Lakh tests in a day. With the new cases, the total tally now goes up to 177221 with 34241 active cases.

The Health Minister of the state took to his twitter and wrote, “I am so proud that second day in a row, our teams carried out an incredibly 1 lakh plus tests. I admire their tenacity and commitment. 3592 COVID cases detected out of 134570 tests.positivity rate-2.67%

Meanwhile, the state witnessed 1702 recoveries on Tuesday.
