Assam receives 5000 oxygen concentrators from Canada

GUWAHATI: Assam has received 5000 oxygen concentrators from Canada for the first time under the initiative of The International Committee of the Red Cross today.

These concentrators to be sent to Guwahati, Silchar and Karimganj.

As health sectors of India could be seen collapsing, especially in providing oxygen and Remdisivir, failing in providing the two had led to deaths of many citizens, India has been receiving foreign aid from time to time.

India has received over 33 million foreign aid till now which includes rapid antigen test kits, Favipiravir and Medirol, Remdisivir doses, oxygen generating plants and cylinders.
