Assam Rifles prepares 325 Manipur women to join defence services
MANIPUR: Spear Corps Security Forces from IGAR (South) in Manipur completed a month-long intensive training programme for around 325 female candidates to prepare them for the Military Nursing Service examinations as well as joining the armed forces as officers.
The training programme aimed at guiding and preparing the young girls for various recruitment rallies of Army, Assam Rifles, CAPFs and other government services.
The training was designed to prepare the applicants for selection by improving their physical and mental skills. Mock written exams, aptitude tests and physical training were all part of the training. Various sporting activities and motivational film screenings were also part of the programme.
