Assam: Schools to reopen from the 15th of September, teachers to join from 1st of September: HBS

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced in a press conference today that the teacher will have to reorganize the classrooms with social distancing facilities and proper sanitization till the 15th of September.

He further informed that the classes will restart from the 15th of September onwards but the teachers will have to join work from the 1st of September itself. While distributing the mid-day meals, teachers will also have to provide the students with study materials.

Himanta Biswa also instructed the schools to take care of the marks of the children keeping in view the ongoing pandemic.

The teachers were instructed to undergo the Covid-19 test. The last day has been extended to the 15th of September.
