The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) has expressed confidence that people in the Bodoland Territorial Council region, Assam, will vote in favour of them in the ensuing BTC general election. The party claimed that people now want change and development in the region. UPPL has also expressed confidence in winning 30 out of the 40 member BTC assembly house and forming the BTC council.

The UPPL party observed its 5th Foundation Day today at the central office in Kokrajhar and different district and block committees observed the day at places in the BTC region. The party was founded in 2015 at Dotma on 5th August and working for the welfare of common masses in the region.

Vice president of the party and expressed BTC MCLA Rwngwra Narzary hoisted party flag followed by homage to martyrs by party vice president Moinul Haque on the occasion.

Narzary told that party jas been contesting in 40 seats of the BTC elections and his party is winning over 30 seats and forming the next BTC council, Assam without any hesitation. He said that citizens from all walks of life are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL party to get Parivartan and deep development in the council region. He said that the BPF party failed to accord properly development and welfare amongst the society in their 17-year rule. He said that the UPPL party was working hard for paving the way healthy development and Parivartan, and accordingly this time UPPL party is winning majority seats in the council elections. He has made a prediction that BPF is winning only a single digit in the council elections as common masses were deprived of their frontal development and welfare.

Narzary has denied the reports of allegation raise of BJP-UPPL alliance pact recently in New Delhi, said that it is an allegation put from GSP president and Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania and BPF supremo Hagrama Mohilary for creating confuse among the common masses ahead of the council elections. He said that there is no alliance with BJP in the council elections because to date UPPL party is contesting in all 40 seats and BJP in 26 constituencies of the council elections.

Ex Rajya Sabha MP and UPPL senior leader UG Brahma said that people from all walks of life are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL party and accordingly his party is winning in majority seats with mass supports.
