Eight youths of Hailakandi district stuck in Goa have sought the intervention of the district administration to bring them back to their home in Assam. The youths from Hailakandi's Sudarshanpur Part II village working in a hotel are stranded in North Goa's Simvaddo village, Anjuna Survey No.11.

"We have run out of money. Whatever little savings we've had have been spent. Now the landowner has asked us to vacate the rooms, as we could not clear the house rent for the last two months," he said.
