Assamese movie 'Dithakat Heral Xapun' adds one more feather to its hat

BAKSA: Even before hitting the screens, Assamese movie 'Dithakat Heral Xapun' has been achieving feats one after the other.

The film has been nominated at the Lift off Global Network International Film Festival 2021 in the main category.

Along with this prestigious nomination, the movie has been able to bag quite a few other awards.

Under the Makanpriya Production banner, the movie has also gained acclaims at the Tagore International Film Festival.

The film was scheduled to be released on April 23 at ten cinema halls across the state. However, the release was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.

About the movie

The story of the film has been written by Rudrakanta Sarma and produced by Ajit Barman.

Directed by Pankaj Pallab Sarma, the film features Mukul Das, Nilutpal Sarma, Diganta Kumar Nath, Dijendra Sarma, Pranjit Sarma, Dipu Kakati and others.

Director Sarma will also be seen in a promising role in the film.

The music and lyrics have been given by Apurva Bezbaruah and Ajit Barman. The playback singers include Anima Choudhury, Sukanya Goswami, Devarchana Kashyap and Ajit Barman.
