Asthma Patient Priyanka Chopra Caught Smoking Cigarette, Gets Trolled on Twitter

Guwahati, July 21, 2019:

'Piggychops' Priyanka Chopra has once again come under the crosshairs of social media trolls after a picture of the 'Baywatch' babe smoking a cigarette went viral on social media platforms.

The picture was apparently clicked while Priyanka was celebrating her birthday on a yacht on Miami. In the picture, Chopra is seen smoking a cigarette, while her hubby Nick Jonas sports a cigar. Netizens trolled her mercilessly after the pic went viral because the star had taken part in an anti-cracker campaign last year during Diwali.

Priyanka had said in the clip, "Please meri saans ko berok rakhiye. Diwali pe patakho ko skip kijiye." (let me breathe, skip crackers). She added that the festival should be about "lights and laddoos and love, and not pollution".

Many netizens called her a "hypocrite". Another queried: "Yeh kaun saa Asthma hai jo kewal Diwali me hi hota hai" (what kind of asthma is this that only comes during Diwali?).

Twitterati also slammed the star as she had earlier stated: "smoking is awful!! Yuck!!"

Last year, Priyanka tweeted an ad campaign in which she revealed that she was diagnosed with asthma at the age of five. She wrote that it could not hold her back from making her dreams come true.
