According to Zee News, Umar Gautam, president of IDC, has accepted Ajmal's nexus by himself in police interrogation.

Though in a released statement, Ajmal has denied any official transaction and association between Umar and him since 2004. Umar was associated with Ajmal's Markazul Ma'arif Education and Research Center from 1994 to 2002 as an administrator cum teacher, said Ajmal.

As reported in Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar, several maulanas and Kashmiri students visit the deaf school and encourage the students to accept Islam in exchange for money and many other facilities, received from Islamic organisations.

In a video recovered by ATS, Omar Gautam himself found saying that he visited England 18 times and the United States four times for religious conversion programmes.

In a previous video, Gautam had stated that he and his organisation helped over 1,000 people embrace Islam in Delhi, UP and other parts of the country, said the official.
