DIMAPUR: Supporting the one-day Bharat vyapar bandh called by the Confederation of All India Traders on February 26, the Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CNCCI) has decided to down the shutters of all business establishments.

CNCCI chairman Khekugha Meru and general secretary Seyievilie Mor, in a release, said the shutters off all business establishments will be down from 6 am to 4 pm on the day.

They stated that the bandh would be restricted to commercial business activities only and that all other activities would not be subject to it or that all activities would continue as normal.

The organization said the bandh was needed because it has become too difficult for the business community to cope with the current goods and services tax (GST) system in India unless it is simplified.

It directed all its units in the districts to implement the bandh in their respective districts in appealing to the customers to cope with the downside and stand in solidarity with the business community.
