SIVASAGAR: Taking a jibe at the ruling party in Assam, AICC General Secretary in charge Assam Jitendra Singh Alwar on Sunday stated ruling party has again started with the hollow promises about roads and bridges.
“It is only during the time of elections, the ruling party remembers about roads and flyovers. What was BJP doing in the last 5 years?”, he said during his address at Thowra.
Speaking further he said that the leaders keep changing parties in the name of progress.

Talking about the Chief Minister, Singh said that people know how Sarma became Chief Minister shuffling between parties.
He further condemned the Chief Minister’s announcement of ₹2,000-crore worth of development projects in the constituency of any Opposition party candidate who joins BJP.
