Kokrajhar: Continuing the war-of-wards, Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) chief Hagrama Mohilary today claimed that Assam health and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has never spoken a single truth in his life.
Mohilary while talking with reportersKokrajhar, claimed that he has a “deep understanding” with Sarma. “There is a deep understanding between me and minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, so there is a war of words with Dr Sarma”, BPF chief Mohilary said.
The BPF supremo further stated that BPF party is fully prepared to contest the ensuing BTC council elections and the party is contesting in 37 constituencies of the BTC and expressed his confidence that BPF will be winning a majority of the seats in the BTC council elections.
He said that UPPL party will fail to secure a single seat zero, while the BJP will win 2-3 seats. The AIUDF and Congress are likely to win a very less number of seats in the BTC council elections. Sarma has also claimed that the BPF party is getting massive support from all sections of the society.
Mohilary has said that his BPF was working for the welfare and upliftment of the common man since its inception and also promised to work for “massive welfare” for all communities if voted back to power.
BPF chief Mohilary also graced the general meeting of the coordination committee of ex NDFB organizations being held at Bathow complex in Kokrajhar where he asked the former NDFB leaders to extend support to the BPF party in days to come.
